SARASOTA, Fla. – August 1, 2014 – 3 p.m.
Detectives with the Sarasota Police Department are attempting to identify a man who used a stolen credit card at Publix at 2031 Bay Street, Sarasota, to purchase a $100 Visa gift card and at Winn Dixie at 4230 Bee Ridge Road, Sarasota, to purchase a $100 American Express gift card.
The credit cards were stolen from an unsecured vehicle in the 3000 block of Alta Vista Street in Sarasota between July 29, 2014 and July 30, 2014.
The suspect seen in the video at http://youtu.be/cZOVDmV6F6c is described as a white male, between 5’6” and 5’8”, 160 lbs., clean shaven, possibly bald and last seen wearing a black hat, blue shirt, dark short and Nike shoes.
